SSC CGL SELECTION PROCESS
- The SSC CGL exam is conducted in 4 Tiers.
- Candidates must qualify in each stage to proceed to the next tier.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 are computer based exam
- Tier 3 (pen and paper mode descriptive) and Tier 4 are conducted in offline mode.

Paper III – Statistics
is valid only for candidates who have applied for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), and Statistical Investigator

- This test is conducted to evaluate candidates’ writing skills, ability to form opinions and arguments on certain topics, grammar and to check how an idea is conveyed.

Assistant Audit Officer
Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University. Desirable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/ Masters in Business Studies
Compiler Posts
Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subject
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)
Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with minimum 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation
All other posts
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates must possess Essential qualification on or before the closing date for receipt of online applications i.e. 23-01-2022.
Physical Fitness Requirements
There are certain Physical Standards requirements for Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency) and Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation)
