There is also a 30-minutes Descriptive test of 50 marks comprising of Letter and Essay writing in English. Lastly, candidates clearing the mains phase appear in the Group Exercise and Interview.

Eligibility-wise, candidates must be 21-30 years old as on the date of advertisement and can attempt the exam a maximum of 4 times. Relaxations in upper age limit and number of chances exist for reserved category candidates. Education-wise, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university of India or equivalent. Final-year graduation students may also apply, provided they produce the proof of having passed the graduation exam on or before the 31^st August of that year.

SBI Clerk Recruitment Exam

Clerks in SBI form the execution lifeline of various functions and departments of the bank. Whether it is in the form of cash dealing, customer handling, customer support, or sales, clerks ensure that banking operations continue unabated under the guidance of senior officers.

The candidate must be a citizen of India and needs to undergo 2 rounds of selection process - prelims and mains (along with test of specified opted local language). The online prelims exam has 30 questions of English Language, 35 questions of Numerical Ability, and 35 questions of Reasoning Ability to be attempted in 1 hour. Each section has a separate timing of 20 minutes, and 1/4 negative marking exists for every wrong answer.

Candidates clearing prelims stage write the mains, that has 50 questions of General / Financial Awareness, 40 questions of General English, 50 questions of Quantitative Aptitude, and 50 questions of Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude to be attempted in 2 hours 40 minutes. Except for General English section, all questions are available in English and Hindi, and 1/4 negative marking exists for every wrong answer.

Those who qualify and produce 10^th or 12^th standard marksheet / certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language, will be exempted from its test while others would have to take it. Eligibility-wise, candidates must be 20-28 years old as on 1^st January of the year of advertisement. They must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university of India or equivalent as on 1^st January of the year of advertisement.

SBI Specialist Officers Recruitment Exam

Specialist Officers in SBI work in specific officer-level roles that pertain to their respective areas of specialization. Examples of such roles are SME Credit Analyst, Product Manager, Manager (Data Analyst), and Manager (Digital Marketing). Looking after specialized functions of the bank, specialist officers extend skill-specific contribution to banking operations.

The candidate must be a citizen of India and needs to undergo 2 rounds of selection process - shortlisting and interview. A shortlisting committee constituted by SBI decides the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates (as against the number of vacancies) are called for interview.

In terms of eligibility, candidates must be 25-35 years old in case of Credit Analyst, up to 35 years old in case of Product Manager and Digital Marketing, and up to 40 years in case of Data Analyst. Education-wise, SME Credit Analyst must be a CA / MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance) or have an equivalent 2-years full time post-graduation degree from a recognized university / college. They must also have at least 3 years of post-qualification, relevant work experience as on 1^st January of the year of advertisement.

Likewise, Product Manager must be a B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science / IT / Electronics from a recognized university / institution and have at least 5 years of post-qualification, relevant work experience. In case of Data Analyst, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Maths, Economics or Computer Science from a recognized university / college along with at least 8 years of post-qualification, relevant work experience. Digital Marketer must be MBA (Marketing), PGDM (Marketing) or equivalent from a recognized university / college along with minimum 5 years of post-qualification, relevant work experience.
